One of my 101 in 1001 was to make a diaper cake. I love anything and everything crafty (hence my Simply Made Blog). One of my friends from high school posted pictures from her baby shower earlier this year and there was a picture of a diaper cake. I was instantly obsessed, did my research and was ready to make one. There was just one problem…no babies coming. Thankfully, within a few months that all changed and now there are 3 close friends of mine expecting from January to May. So, this past weekend I had the opportunity to make my first diaper cake for Danielle. I enjoyed every second of creating it and couldn’t have done it without the help from my mom. Here is the finished product:
Then…I had some leftover diapers so I decided to make a diaper wreath. I loved how it came out and am so thankful that the babies are just starting in my circle of friends. I’m sure I will have MANY MANY more opportunities to make these.
