Week 26
Size: A head of lettuce
Total Weight Gain/Loss: +23
Maternity Clothes: Maternity pants, regular tops and maternity tops.
Stretch Marks: None… Lathering up with lotion.
Gender: GIRL!!
Movement: Not as much as before, seems like she’s getting a little crammed in there. But, I still feel a lot throughout the day.
Sleep: Rough. I’ve been waking up a lot just because I’m uncomfortable, usually twice a night plus the bathroom breaks.
Cravings: Anything cold. Ice cream, frozen yogurt, slushies, etc.
Aversions: None.
Symptoms: Still swollen, today I had cankles for the first time, I’ve had a lot of mid back pain (I’m sure from my growing girls), and lots of indigestion.
Labor Signs: None. Keep cooking baby girl!
What I Miss: Cute shoes =-)
What I’m Looking Forward To: My first shower on Friday along with the start of my final trimester on Friday as well!
Best Moment This Week: My class threw me a surprise shower on Friday. It was teacher appreciation week and I had a poetry celebration planned at the end of the day where all parents were invited. They turned around and surprised me with a shower. The kids were in on it and so excited. I had a crown, sash, mom to be button, and the room was decorated in pink. Avery received lots of cute outfits, some books and toys and the big gift was a play mat. I am so thankful for such a great group of parents and students this year.
I changed up my picture this week. I realized you could never see where my back ended. She is definitely a basketball in the front. People tell me all the time that they can’t tell I’m pregnant from the back. Of course, I feel it everywhere!
I know you're a bit on the shorter side and baby really does look she's running out of room in there! I seem to be growing up and sideways but it looks like you've got nowhere to grow but out!
