Tomorrow I’m 17 weeks pregnant. Craziness. This pregnancy is flying by even though the sickness it’s brought has made it feel like forever some days. I do have some fabulous news though, today is the FIRST day I haven’t been sick! I pray that this is my new normal. Anyhow, I am slowing getting caught up on the blog. Between being sick, trying to get some work done and napping while AG naps, I haven’t had much time. The good news is I’m headed home to FL next week and will have LOTS of spare time to catch up! Until then, here are weeks 13, 14 & 15!
Week 13
Size: Peach
Gender: The ultrasound tech told us what she thought at our appt this week. We’re keeping it a secret until we know for sure at the end of May.Movement: Nothing yet.
Sleep: Crazy dreams. Some nights are more comfortable than others, thankful for my preggo pillow.
Cravings: Salad, ice cold drinks (lemonade)Aversions: Sweets, coffee, cereal
Symptoms: Still very tired and sick. Thankfully the all day sickness has seen to disappear and only mornings are rough. The back pain has been better this week.
What I Miss: Intense workouts. I love to eat and I love to workout hard to eat what I want. I’ve been able to do a bit more in the gym compared to the beginning of the pregnancy which feels good. I miss running intervals. Even though I know I can run it just feels weird to me.What I’m Looking Forward To: Officially saying goodbye to the first trimester.
Best Moment This Week: My hair appointment! I waited to the end of the first trimester to make my appt and haven’t been since December. It was MUCH needed!
Week 14 **I forgot to take a picture this week =-(**
Size: Lemon
Gender: Announcement at the end of MayMovement: Nothing yet.
Sleep: Much better this week. Still having insane dreams but I’ve been much more comfortable.
Cravings: Anything cold, including ice creamAversions: Hot drinks, coffee
Symptoms: Still pretty tired and have morning sickness. Thankfully it’s only lasting until about 10am these days. Back pain is still minimal.
What I Miss: Wine and turkey sandwiches! What I’m Looking Forward To: More energy. Not feeling like I need a nap as soon as AG goes down for hers.
Best Moment This Week: AG started rocking and singing to her baby dolls. She now points to the baby in mommy’s tummy and give kisses. She’s going to be such an amazing big sister!
Size: Orange
Gender: Announcement at the end of MayMovement: Three itty bitty kicks this week. It must have been the way I was sitting. I couldn’t believe it, three little jabs in a row. Loved it!
Sleep: Lots of tossing and turning throughout the night.
Cravings: Salads, veggies, ranch dip, pretzels and mustard have been a go to snackAversions: hot drinks, chocolate
Symptoms: Morning sickness continues. Exhaustion does too.
What I Miss: Working during nap time. What I’m Looking Forward To: Easter festivities with the family.
Best Moment This Week: Not quite pregnancy related but taking AG to her first Easter egg hunt. It’s hard to believe we will have two little ones next year!
I missed your announcement! Eeeeepp! Congratulations!!
You look gorgeous! Wishing you a happy, healthy rest of your pregnancy!

Eep I'm thinking BOY! So glad you're feeling better 🙂 I hope the morning sickness goes away completely, fairly soon.
You look great!!! Love your skirt in the first pic -where from??
I don't know what to guess as far as gender goes! I a going to wait a few more weeks before my guess!!
I had two miscarriages before I had my daughter so I was always too scared to work out hard during my pregnancy. I just did a lot of walking. I am just like you, workout hard so I can eat whatever. Dieting is not my friend! You look great! I have that same maxi skirt!
You look amazing! Sorry to hear you have struggled with morning sickness so much. Hopefully it will subside soon. I remember my first trimester and I was ALWAYS exhausted. I could sleep for days. I also had very vivid crazy dreams my entire pregnancy with my son. It was almost scary at how real they seemed. Maybe it's a boy thing! I can't wait to hear what your having 🙂
You look great!!! I'm saying it's another little mini 😉
You look adorable mamma! Cannot wait to know the gender! I am sure little miss will be excited either way! Hello playmate…
I totally meant to stop over earlier after you commented on my blog from the Easter Basket Blog Hop, but then life got crazy busy! You are looking great! I love reading about pregnancy progress, and hope to stop by more often.
such a cute bump- it's great that your pregnancy is going so smoothly!
