Happy Friday! Now that we’re almost a week into March, my mind is focused on all things St. Patrick’s Day and Easter. I’m not too crazy about Easter coming so early this year, it will be here before we know it. I think it takes a bit away from St. Patrick’s Day, which has been the case in our house.
Ten years ago, planning for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations involved lots of green drinks, making sure I had a fun outfit for the night out that included green and an Irish pub somewhere in town. Things have definitely changed over the years, as the Irish pubs have been traded in for leprechaun footprints, green pancakes and rainbow art.
Even though I don’t do much when it comes to decorating the house for St. Patrick’s Day, I like to celebrate the holiday doing fun things with the kids. Usually the week of, I’ll do some green and rainbow crafts with AG. We also like to do some baking, most of the time involving fruity pebbles! This year, I have a week of fun planned for her. I also wanted to do some fun things for our neighbors, teachers, classmates, etc.
Today, I have a small roundup of fun St. Patrick’s ideas for you. Some are gifts, others can be created in the kitchen and there are a few things that would be fun for the littles as well.
Do you have anything fun planned for St. Patrick’s Day?
