Something I look forward to every year when the weather starts to warm up is fruit infused water. The only two things I really drink each day are coffee and water. Two cups of coffee in the morning and water from there out. On the weekends I’ll have wine, unless the day was rough! I only drink soda here and there and prefer fountain soda when I do have it. So, that leaves me drinking A LOT of water throughout the day. Adding flavor with fresh fruit and herbs to my water is not only tasty but fun too. I love coming up with different creations, especially when I get to use the herbs from my own garden.
Here are my herbs so far this year. We bought this herb planter off Amazon last year and love it. It keeps the herbs away from little hands and fits perfectly on the outside of our patio.
Most of the time I’ll just throw the fruit and herbs in my daily water glass. Others times I’ll muddle it in a large pitcher filled with ice. If I do muddle it, I like to strain it before pouring it into my glass. Most water can keep for 2-3 days in the fridge, although it doesn’t last that long in our house. Infused water is so easy to make and has a lot of health benefits too!

I love the idea of a herb planter! We try to grow herbs every year and do so in their own planters near our garden but half the time we’re so focused on the actual garden that we forget to give the herbs some TLC! Love all of these infused water ideas as well, the strawberry lime mint and watermelon mint sound so yummy!

I would love to have an actual garden one day, but it’s hard enough keeping herbs alive!
I have never infused my water with anything, but perhaps I should because it would probably encourage me to drink more of it!! I love that planter! Going to buy one right now! Thanks for the inspiration! 🙂
I definitely think it makes me drink more and makes it more fun too!
