We made it to Friday, ya’ll! This week has been filled with unfinished to do lists, home cooked meals, a weeknight date night, lots of outside time and a heck of a lot of work! I’m ready for a relaxing weekend and hoping this rainy Friday helps to start that off.
The weather has been warming up which means I’ve been craving refreshing and cold drinks and this has been my go to for the past year. Making this at home has definitely saved me some money and time!
With this gorgeous weather, comes evening walks with these two cuties. L likes to just chill during walks and AG usually wants to stop every two seconds and examine what is crawling in the grass.
I’m happy to report that we’re still going strong on limiting eating or ordering out. My favorite meal this week was this chicken and peppers dish. So easy to make and can be turned into a variety of dishes. I had mine over cauliflower rice from Trader Joe’s (which is amazing) and hubs had his over rice. We both added salsa to top things off. If you want to make this dish, I mixed sliced chicken and peppers with olive oil and added a salt free seasoning. I baked it in the oven on 400 for 20 minutes. Simple as that!
AG has her first friend from school birthday party this weekend. The party is at a dance studio and she has to wear a leotard and tights (which I have to go buy.) I made this shirt for the birthday girl. Isn’t it darling!
Loft has their friends and family sale going on right now. I snatched up this that I talked about this week. I’m also hoping this dress fits me, as I was thinking of wearing it to my brother’s rehearsal dinner next month. I guess you can say I’m on a dress kick lately because I also ordered this one and this too. Did you take advantage of the Loft sale?
Enjoy your Friday and weekend friends!
That’s a cute shirt, I’m sure she’ll love it. It sounds life you guys have been busy this week. I want to try that drink, it looks very refreshing.

I love that shirt with the ballet shoes. I teach little ones ballet, and that would make a perfect gift for the parties we have at our studio too. Love Starbucks Passion tea, so I’ll have to try your copycat version. Yum.
Thank you! Let me know what you think of the tea!
You had a great week!! Love the shirt. So cute! Have a great weekend.
