-work, work, work-

Story of my life this week. I usually get 4-5 orders finished each day to ship out. This week I’ve already finished 45 items and have 10 more to get out today. That right there is the reason for the slow week here on the blog and on IG. It’s hard to keep up sometimes, especially since all of this is a one woman show. I’m grateful for my mom who was able to come over for a few hours yesterday to give me time to get out of the house. She even cleaned up the kitchen, which was a treat to come home to. I don’t know what I’d do without her!

Here are some of the new items that are coming to the shop.

-summer fun-

We’re on the countdown to summer and I’ve been busy planning things to keep AG busy during the summer months. Playdates, trips around town and lots of learning activities are on the list. To kick things off on the last day of school, I’m going to have a basket full of summer toys waiting for her. We’ll take a trip to get ice cream on the last day, come home and put these new toys to use! 

-almost wedding time-

My little brother is getting married next weekend!  I’m so excited for all of the festivities to kick off. I’ve been looking for a dress for the rehearsal dinner that is causal yet can easily be dressed up. I found this dress for just $48 from Nordstrom for a wedding a few months back. I’m thinking of getting it in purple for the rehearsal dinner. It’s easy to dress up with a statement necklace, which I’ll be on the hunt for this weekend. 

-kitchen style-

Please, someone tell me good reason I can’t say no to this apron!  I’m in love with it but have yet to pull the trigger. And imagine it with a white monogram on the top….perfection.

-a summer must-

I mentioned last week I had scored some great deals at Loft recently. This chambray softened shirt was one of them that was 40% off a few weeks ago. It arrived early this week and it’s everything I hoped it would be. It is perfect with shorts or with white jeans. Speaking of white jeans, I bought a pair last month and have already worn them multiple times. They’re not too low and have the perfect amount of stretch. Oh and they’re 50% off right now! They also have two new colors in my favorite summer dress that are new arrivals.

-make it-

We heading to a friends house this weekend for dinner and I’ll be bringing this bacon ranch pasta salad. I made it for the first time last year and now make it for every BBQ. It’s so easy to make and a hit with our friends. Make it this weekend, you’ll thank me!
