For teacher appreciation week this year, I decided to do a sunshine gift for one of the days. I had a list of the teachers favorite things and as I was adding them to my cart, I noticed there was a lot of yellow items. I thought it would be perfect for a little “sending you sunshine” box and grabbed a few more intentional yellow items to finish up the gift.
Instead of using a box, I went with this letter/ mail box that I found at the Target dollar spot. I figured it would be easy for a teacher to find use for it after she enjoyed the goodies in it.
If you’re in need of some ideas of what to put in a sunshine box, I’ve got you. Below you’ll find a bunch of ideas from candles to hand lotion to drinks to candy to snacks. You don’t have to spend a lot to create this gift. If you take a trip to the dollar store, you can create the entire gift under $15.
