Alright friends, this is the last new back to school printable I have to share with you for the start of the 2022-2023 school year. Today is the first day of school and I wanted to have something for the kids to deliver to their teachers in the morning and to also share with my coworkers. While I do have a cookie business doing royal icing cookies, those cookies take A LOT of time and with back to school teacher life in full swing, I knew I wouldn’t have time to make them. So, I decided to bake a batch of my FAVORITE chocolate chip cookies and send one to each teacher. Just a little something sweet to start their day, which is where CHIP CHIP HOORAY, Happy First Day came from.
These are similar to my sip sip hooray tags, which I love using to celebrate Fridays throughout the year. I mean, what better way to start the year than with fresh baked cookies?!?
What You Need
In order to put these little gifts together, you’ll need just a few things. First, bake the cookies. Make sure to check out the link above for our favorites. If you’re short on time or not the baking kind….head to the store and grab any chocolate chip cookies that work for you. Remember, keep it simple! Next, you’ll need bags to put the cookies in, if they’re fresh baked, string to tie them off and the printable which prints best on card stock and can be found here.
Package them up however you wish, and you’ve got yourself an easy goodie for the first day of school. And of course, these don’t just have to be for classroom teachers, they can be for front office staff, specials teachers and administration! You can even put these in your kids lunch box as a little surprise or have them in the car after school.
