Looking for a quick and easy Valentine’s Day dessert? Maybe it’s for a class party or a play date or even a moms night? Well, you’ve come to the right place! When it comes to deciding on recipes, I always go for quick and easy. Most of the time, what I create is semi-homemade. It doesn’t have to take all day to whip up something that will leave your friends talking about how tasty it was and asking for the recipe!
With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, my mind is on all things pink and red. Today, I’m sharing these pink velvet cake mix bars with you. You’ll be amazed by how easy these are to make. The result is soft, moist bars with an added crunch thanks to the white chocolate chips, sprinkles and M&M’s!
- 1 box pink velvet cake mix about 15oz
- 1 box instant vanilla pudding mix 3.4 oz
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup Pink & Red M&M's
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- sprinkles for the top!
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Grease a 9x13 inch baking.
- Combine cake mix, pudding mix, water, eggs and vegetable oil in a large bowl, mix well.
- Once batter is mixed, add in the white chocolate chips and M&M's. Mix until they're well incorporated. Note, the mixture will be pretty thick.
- Once everything is mixed together, pour the batter into the prepared pan. Use a spatula to even it out.
- Bake for 25 - 30 minutes. I like mine less gooey, so I kept them in closer to the 30 minute mark.
- Remove from oven and let them cool.
- Once they're cool, cut and serve!
I feel like half of the comments I leave on your blog start with “Yum!” 😉 Seriously though…this looks delicious!
