A Soft Place to Land by Susan Rebecca White

This book took me just over 3 weeks to read. I blame that partially on my crazy, non stop schedule and partially on my interest in the book. There were a few nights when I didn’t want to put the book down, but not too many (hence the 7 rating). This story is about two sisters and their journey through life. In this journey they face tragedy, love, life, and change. It started out as heart-wrenching story and concluded with a heart warming ending. It was filled with unexpected turns along the way, which kept the story interesting. I enjoyed reading it because it was not like a lot of the books I’ve been reading lately. It made me think about life, loved ones in it and the path god has chosen for us. I originally chose this book because it was a Target Book Club pick. Overall, a good read.

Now, I’m SOO excited about my new book, Heart of the Matter by Emily Giffin.I’ve been eagerly awaiting it’s release since last summer when I read Love the One Your With and there was a preview in the back. I’ve read almost all of Emily Giffin’s books and I have to say that she is one of my favorite authors. All of her books are funny, relatable, thought provoking and easy reads. I usually read her books in a few days because I can’t put them down. I’m hoping that it’s the same case for this book! Happy Reading!
