Freezer Meals: I’ve already started on this one. I have three crock pot meals in the freezer and one bread. I’m hoping to make a few casseroles and a few more freezer meals within the next few weeks. I’m so thankful for Pinterest, which is where I found all of my recipes (which I’ll post soon).
Date Nights: Hubs and I have been going out a lot. Most of the time it’s out to eat or run errands but it’s still quality time together, just he and I. We’ve also been to the movies and have plans to see two more before August.
Sleep: I wish I was getting more sleep but I will say it’s 100% better than it was before. Nonetheless, I’m getting way more now as opposed to what I’ll be getting in a few weeks, so I’ll take it. Most nights I don’t make it past 10 and am usually up between 6 and 8.
Read: I really haven’t read any baby prep books. I feel like a slacker. And I can’t say I have intentions of reading any before she arrives. I’m hoping to read 2-3 more books for FUN. I’m finishing Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me now and plan on reading Emily Giffin’s new book that comes out at the end of the month next.
Me Time: Coffee, Shopping, Reality TV, Pedicures, etc. Enough said.
Finish AG’s Nursery: We only have a few more things to do before it’s completely finished.
Bake: Breads, cookies, brownies, muffins…you name it. I’ve been in a baking mood lately. D asked what I was preparing for because he comes home to a new creation every night.
Sew: FOR AG. I need to close the business for a bit and just work on things for her that have been on my list for months.
Clean: Clean, Clean, Clean…nesting has officially taken over. My house is more clean than it’s ever been. I’ve used so many pinterest tutorials for cleaning appliances that I had never cleaned before. Every morning I pick up the house and make a list of one thing I want to focus on for the day. Little by little it will all get done.
Getting Ready for Baby: Bucket List
We are five weeks away from our due date and time is flying by. Even though I feel like we’re ready if she would arrive tomorrow, there are still things I want done before she gets here. I’ve decided to make a list (surprise surprise) of everything I want done or to do before she makes her debut.
Am I missing anything?
Sounds like you are doing great girl! I think having freezer meals ready is a great idea. I had a few ready but wish I had prepared a few more. Only thing I can think of is getting a few things for you for healing sorry if TMI but just keeping it real! ha..and nursing tanks, PJ's, comfy cute clothes.
I'm not much of a cook- but I def will have to steal some of your freezer meals!!
Sounds like you are gonna be a buzzy lady! You will be thankful for all of those pre made meals once your little lady comes.
Please post some of the clothes you make for her!
The Mindy Kahling book is on my reading list. My SIL was laughing out loud when she was reading it at Christmas.
These are great. I need to do some of them and I'm not even expecting!
i wish i could had a few more things in to your list but ive never had a baby so unfortunately i dont' know. but definitely date nights, freezer meals. just enjoy your husband as the two of you for just 5 weeks more is what i would suggest
I think your list is great; you are so prepared! I'm sure many, many people have told you this, but the 'me' time is SO important. Take care of yourself! And, I'll be reading Emily Giffin's new book right along with you!
I will be five weeks out tomorrow. I am totally stealing this list!!
