I’m excited to link up with a fabulous group of bloggers today for the Blogosphere Christmas Cheer link up. The topic for today, the first day is Christmas Crafts.
Days until Santa Plaque
I haven’t done a tutorial on this one yet, but it was pretty simple.
All you need is a wood plaque, acrylic paint, chalkboard paint and a paint pen.
I painted the red first. Then, painted the green border. Next, I drew circles by tracing the bottom of the paint bottle with a pencil. Next, I painted them in with white. To finish it off, I used the chalkboard paint to make the box and used the paint pen to write the “days until santa”.
If you have a sewing machine and are looking for a cute gift to make, this is it.
I made these for all of my guests at my cookie exchange this year.
I put them around a cup, filled it with cocoa, a chocolate spoon & candy cane.

This is my most recent creation.
I made it this weekend. It took only 20 minutes to make.
It definitely adds holiday cheer to our front door!
