One thing that I continue to struggle with when it comes to blogging is planning things out.
Often, I start the week with a list of things to blog about jotted on a list or in my head.
As the week goes on, either the list disappears or I completely forget my ideas.
Or I start a post and don’t finish it. I can’t even begin to tell you how many drafts I have in blogger right now. I needed some kind of organization for my blog.

Blogging is not only a hobby for me but it is something that has helped grow my business.
It’s something that I also enjoy very much, a digital journal of our lives.
But it can become a stress when it’s 8am and I wanted to get a post done and completely forgot to do it.
Or I wanted to participate in a link up that I completely forgot about until I saw it that morning.
I can guarantee you that on those particular mornings where I want to sit down and blog, nap time doesn’t happen or my little one has decided to be extra clingy that day.

So I searched for solution to this little issue of mine.
I have seen a lot of blog planners floating around on Pinterest.
I even printed a bunch out to use, but I didn’t love any of them.
They didn’t have everything I was looking for on one page.
I decided to create my own and I also put together a blogging binder for myself.
Lets talk about the binder first.
I used an old binder I had from teaching.
I bought dividers from Target.
I also bought a small calendar that is in the front of the binder.
I use the calendar to keep track of link ups or other important things for the month that I don’t want to forget.

My dividers were as follows: Ideas, Weekly, Stats, Simply Made Ideas, Simply Made Stats
Since I have two blogs I work on weekly, I needed to find a way to organize both.
In my ideas sections, I just have this printable from I Heart Organizing (you’ll find it at the bottom).
In my weekly section, I have my blog planner, found below.
I also have my favorite Paper Mate Flair pens in a little pouch at the front of the binder.
You can also add sticky notes, paper clips and much more to the pouch.
I love how everything is in one place.
I can plan my posts for the week anywhere around the house and all I need is the binder.
I’ve been using the binder for a month and I love it.
The printable is a recent creation.
I had a list of things I wanted in a planner and on the printable.
I played around for a few hours and came up with the printable below.
One of my favorite things about it is the little check boxes to visit new blogs.
I try to comment and visit 5 new blogs each week, usually from a link up I participate in.
It’s a great way to grow your blog and it’s how I’ve found some of my daily reads.

I love it! I have a section in my Home Management notebook for my blog, but that binder has been buried on the dinning room table for weeks. Maybe this printable will inspire me to dust it off and get back to organization! Thanks!!
Also, I love that you included "visit new blogs" on the to-do's! I try to visit new blogs a few times a week too. I just wish I had time to keep up with all the great ones I stumble upon.
