Next week, I’m hosting a Valentine’s Day party & playdate.
There will be ten littles and there mamas celebrating the day with us.
I’ve been slacking a bit when it comes to planning though.
Since it’s just over a week away, I figured I better get on it!
I’m promised myself I wouldn’t go too overboard with the party.
Work is beyond busy right now and I have a lot on my plate.
While looking for the food I was going to make and decorations, I kept it simple.
Here are some things that caught my eye and will hopefully will be a part of the party next week.
I still need to work on the healthy snacks for the party. Those aren’t as fun to search for!
Rice Krispie treats are easy to make. Heck, you could even use the store bought ones for this treat. Kids will love eating them off of a stick. I’m sure older kids would even love to make them!

I have scrapbook paper for days, this would be a good use for some of it.

Again, another semi homemade treat. Buy the wafer cookies, dip them in chocolate and sprinkle them with love!

I plan on putting a snack mix in individual cups for the kids. I love how this is filled with semi healthy treats. So much better than candy or chocolate covered popcorn!

Chocolate dipped marshmallows, yes please!

I love milano cookies. So, these treats will be for the adults. I’m sure the kids will eat them, but I’m hoping the moms will enjoy these with a warm cup of hot chocolate.

To keep the kids entertained we will be decorating shoe boxes for the Valentine’s the kids are bringing to pass out. I bought foam stickers and asked the moms to bring empty shoe boxes to decorate.
I also have extra paper and stickers for the kids to make Valentine’s for a local nursing home. I’ll be delivering them after the party.

How cute are these decorations and table set ups?
I don’t think I’ll get myself together to come up with something like this.
I’m hoping for a banner and come fresh flowers.

The last thing I plan on doing is a hot chocolate bar. How cute is this one?!

Sooo cute, I love everything, especially the rice krispy treats and chocolate dipped cookies. You all will have so much fun! All I know so far for what I'm doing is a Valentine box with goodies and heart shaped pancakes. Maybe we'll decorate cookies for daddy 🙂
I'm hosting a Valentine's Play Date, too! The babies are all under one, though, so no mailbox decorating for us this year. Can't wait to see pics of your get-together!
What a great little round up! I'm hosting a low-key V-Day playdate next week too–I may have to steal some of these ideas! 🙂
Great ideas! It bums me out though because I was supposed to have a valentines themed play date this week with Noah's friends but it got cancelled because of the snow! Hope yours goes well!
That's going to be one heck of a Valentine's Day play date. Have fun (and share photos when it's over!).
