Easter is just three days away! I am so excited for the Easter bunny to visit our house this year. Holidays are so much more fun with littles. AG may not be a big fan of the Easter bunny in person, but I know she’ll be excited when he leaves this basket full of goodies and a special egg hunt for her.
Today, I’m linking up with Darci & Sarah for their blog hops, sharing everything in her basket this year.
I’ve been on the lookout for basket items for a few months now. I always try to shop well in advance for holidays. It breaks up the spending and I end up getting the most practical gifts instead of waiting until the last minute and throwing a bunch of stuff in my cart just to check it off the list. That may or may not have happened once. This year the bulk of her gifts came from Wal-Mart and Target. Lets take a look at what little miss will be waking up to on Easter morning…
A girl can never have enough bows. These bows were just $1 at Walmart, I can’t even make them for that cheap! We go through elastics like we go through cheerios around here, so I made sure to stock up on those as well. I also threw in a pair of sunglasses from the dollar spot at Target. AG is obsessed with sunglasses and surprisingly keeps them on in the car and while we’re outside.
I can never pass up the holiday cups from Target. AG is still using her Santa cup from Christmas, so it’s about time she has a new one. I also picked her up another Doc McStuffins stethoscope set. She has one and takes it with her everywhere she goes. With two, I’m hoping I won’t have to spend as much time searching for it day in and out!
Books, Books, Books. Mini is obsessed with books. A few times throughout the day I’ll find her on the carpet just reading her books. I probably read 10-20 throughout a normal day. Her favorite book last Easter was That’s not my bunny! When I saw That’s not my lamb…at Barned & Noble this year I snatched it. I also got her an I love you book, Mickey Mouse and a cute Easter egg book with flaps for her to lift.
You can’t have an Easter basket without a few toys. Most of these came from the dollar spot at Target. She has chalk, bubbles, bath crayons, pick up sticks (which I have a feeling will be a huge mistake) and a coloring book.
I finished it off with a few monogrammed dresses from Simply Made with Love. These are my favorite dresses for spring and summer.
I can’t leave you without a picture of the mini this year.
This was taken yesterday for her second Easter egg hunt at the library.
She’s getting so big, I can’t take it!
