This year I wanted to do a countdown to Christmas Advent for AG. She’s two and really getting into the holidays this year. I knew it would be something she would enjoy and a tradition I wanted to start for her.
A few years ago I pinned a cute idea where kids unwrapped a book a day throughout the month of December. In anticipation of doing that with AG this year, I stocked up on books after Christmas last year. I didn’t buy any books that weren’t at least 50% off.
When planning our our month, I decided that I would take things a step further than just a book. I decided to pair an activity with each book she unwraps this month. Below you’ll find 24 books with matching activities for your littles. Some activities are linked to sources, others are pretty self explanatory. I’ll make sure to update throughout the month with pictures of the fun we’re having.
I am beyond excited to start this today. I’m not only looking forward to seeing her face each morning as she unwraps her new books, I’m looking forward to the quality time we’ll be spending together while doing all of the activities. -one-

How adorable!! I got some of those books and cannot wait to read them and possibly incorporate a craft! You are awesome mama. Thanks so much for sharing. What fun this Christmas will be!
With Jude only being 8 months old, he isn't very aware of gifts. So I am definitely buying ALL the Christmas books after Christmas on sale to do this next year! What a great idea!
WOW! This is amazing! I love this idea! We're doing an activity advent this year and I'm really looking forward to it. I love the idea of pairing the activities with books. You're amazing!
