Easter is just a few days away and we’re getting things ready around here. This is L’s first Easter and the first one AG is really into, so I know it’s going to be pretty special. We’re also a little sad because hubs won’t be here for it. He’s off to enjoy the Master’s tournament. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to go, we weren’t going to let him pass it up. He definitely deserves it. So, it’s going to be me, the littles and my family this Sunday.
Today, I’m linking up with Darci for her annual Easter basket hop. I linked up AG’s basket last year and realized I bought pretty much the same basket last year with high hopes of monogramming it and never did. I wish I could say I finally got around to monogramming that one this year, but the truth is I couldn’t tell you where that basket it. I’m sure it’s one of the many things that got lost in our move. In all honesty, I just bought the baskets below a few days ago. I waited until the last minute to order blanks for embroidering and the baskets I liked were all sold out. Next year, I’ll be on top of it. Maybe. I did get around to making vinyl monogram decals for the front of their Easter baskets. I love how they turned out, I’ll be adding them to the shop next year for sure.
I decided to go with a theme for AG’s basket this year. She loves being outside and is obsessed with taking care of the plants. Thanks to Target’s Dollar Spot, I decided on a garden theme. Pretty much everything in her basket was from Target. Contents: Rain Boots, Windmill, Chalk, Kinetic Sand, Gloves, Binoculars, Gardening Tote, Bubbles, Flowers.
For L, I kept it simple. He’s only 6 months old and the only thing he’s into these days is eating everything and anything. Baby boy is teething, big time. So, I filled his basket with toys, teethers and a few feeding necessities.
I have a feeling we’re going to have one very excited little girl come Sunday morning and a little boy will will be happy he has something new to chew on.
My mom still makes all of us Easter baskets each year, I let her do all the candy and goodies! I can’t wait to see how hers come out and indulge in what she puts in mine!
Bunny vinyl decals can be found here from Simply Made with Love.
I love the idea of a gardening themed basket! She’s gonna love it! And yes, at 6 months teethers are the way to go! You will have two happy kids on Sunday!

I would absolutely love to send them your way!
Super cute baskets!! I love the garden theme and the buckets. I saw some similar buckets at Target this year and almost bought them to put their names on in vinyl as well. Yours are so cute, I might have to check out Target after Easter and see if I can score the buckets on sale for next year 😉
I am so excited for Eater too! It’s so fun to shop for a boy and a girl. Love your baskets mama!!

I got 2 kids and I bought them all baskets that we refill every year. Helps not having to buy a new basket every year. Just thought share that tip!
