Part of our summer fun this year involves a lot of painting. AG loves to paint. Whether it’s finger paint, glitter paint, water colors, etc. She loves it. We’ve used paint brushes, her fingers, sponges, feathers, and Q-tips. Painting can keep her busy for at least 20 minutes, which is a huge win in my mom book. The one thing we make sure to have before we start painting are Huggies wipes. Because Kids Outgrow Diapers, Not Messes*
With a now mobile little brother crawling around the house, it’s hard to sit with AG the entire time she’s painting. While I’m always able to keep an eye on her, I usually have L on my hip, at my toes or running his little car into the table she’s painting on. It’s a chaotic scene every time, but always FUN. And FUN is all that matters over the summer!
While AG loves to paint, she absolutely hates having paint anywhere on her. Even with finger painting. She’ll dip her pointer finger in paint, paint a bit and then IMMEDIATELY needs her finger wiped off. My child does not like messes. Not one bit. Thankfully, I keep Huggies Clutch n Clean Wipes close to her while she’s painting. With Huggies Triple Clean Layers, it makes cleaning up messes quick and easy. AG is able to get the wipe all on her own. She wipes her hands and puts it aside until she needs to do it again. I love how easy it is for her, which allows me to keep my eyes on her and frees up my hands for the littlest. No more hearing, “MOM, I NEED YOU TO WIPE MY HANDS.”
Most days, our crafting comes after naptime. Those few hours before dinner can linger and filling those hours with fun is the best way to pass time. If you’re looking for something fun to do with your little one this summer, plan some painting and head on out for your Huggies Wipes at Walmart.
We don’t only use Huggies Wipes for painting. Since they’re safe to use for children, with no harmful chemicals, we use them all over our house. Here are some of the things we use them for:
- L is a messy eater. Most of the time his baby food ends up all over him, his highchair and the floor. Therefore, Huggies Wipes are used for not only gently cleaning off the baby, but the floor and highchair too. If you need a smile today, look at this adorable baby video.
- I also keep a pop up tub of wipes in my car. Whether I need them for cleaning dirty hands after a a morning at the park or to clean mud off of the floor after a rainy Florida afternoon. They work for everything.
- Stroller care: I’m not sure about you, but our stroller gets messy quick! AG always has a snack on our runs, which usually leaves a mess behind. I let her clean it up with wipes as soon as we get home.
- AG loves to have a snack and then play with her toys. This can leave her toys sticky. Once a week I give her some wipes and let her clean her toys while I clean the house. She loves doing what mommy is doing and I love that she’s saving me time by helping me clean! I am obsessed with Huggies Designer Tubs for our living room because it matches perfectly with our living room decor!

I don’t have any kids of my own yet, but wet wipes are good for SO many things! They really do make cleaning up that much easier.

I LOVE baby wipes, and Huggies are the best (in my opinion, lol). I kept a pack in my car even before I had kids! 🙂

They are also awesome for stain removal- because they are alcohol based, they do not leave a giant wet spot behind, or soap residue. I have used them to remove stains from clothing, furniture and carpet!
