It’s hard to believe the last full week of June is here. And as of yesterday, summer officially started. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready and looking forward to fall! It’s HOT here in FL. As I was working on this post this morning, a news alert popped up on my phone with “record heat” as the headline. Fun stuff.
We’re continuing right along with our summer fun to finish out the month. Next month, AG goes to summer camp two mornings a week for the entire month. It’s at the place where she’s starting preschool in the fall. I figured it would be a good start to the transition.
Lets take a look at the fun we have planned for week #4!
Cupcake Liner Fish Art. I have ooodles of cupcake liners around the house. Even though AG will definitely need a good amount of help with this craft, I know she’ll love it. I will have her paint a piece of paper blue first and then we’ll make fish out of cupcake liners.
Commotion in the Ocean, followed by making Underwater Jello Treats. I have so many books from my teaching days. Doing these things with AG forces me to get them out and put them to use!
Water fun will be the highlight of our week this week. I ordered Bunch O Balloons (thank you Amazon Prime) last night and they’ll be here on Tuesday. AG has never experienced water balloons before. I know she’ll love them and daddy works from home on Wednesdays, so he’ll get to enjoy a bit of the fun too!
Shapes salt box. I saw these neat salt box ideas while searching Pinterest. I love how easy it looks to put together and how education it can be for AG. I’m going to give it a try this week, focusing on shapes.
Zoo trip!
Oh, I LOVE that fish craft!! Totally doing it this week with my daughter, which is perfect since she’s starting swim lessons this week. How old is your little girl? (Also, I see we have similar taste in WP themes!)

Oh, please don’t say Fall! Haha! We LOVE summer in PA!
We make those jello treats with swedish fish. My kids love them. I love how you are pairing it with a book!
Sounds like a great week of plans. I’m sure your kids will enjoy these activities.
