Hello Monday. After taking a break last week, I’m back at it this morning with another week of summer fun ideas for you and your littles. If you’re doing any fun summer lessons with your littles, I’d love to see them. Tag me on IG or send them my way via email! Make sure to follow along on IG to see what these lessons look like throughout the week!
arts & crafts: Cupcake Liner Ice Cream Cone A few weeks back, the cupcake liner fish was a hit in our house, so why not make an ice cream cone? Of course, it will be followed by a real ice cream cone for miss A to enjoy!
book cooks: Pirate Nap AG has been obsessed with this book since she received it as a gift when L was born. It’s a book all about colors in a fun pirate way. Today, we’ll read the book and then make a boat out of an apple, pretzel sticks and fruit leather as the flag.
water fun: sea foam sensory play water, soap, corn starch and liquid water colors is all you need for this activity. I thought it would be fun to fill AG’s water table with the foam and let her have at it.
1, 2, 3 & abc: digging for letters While AG can sing her ABC’s there are only about 5 letters she can really identify. I love this digging for letters activity and think she’ll absolutely love it. I’ll be using a a rice mixture to hide the letters in a bin and we have a shovel she’ll use to go digging! This would also work great with little shapes or numbers as well.
fun Friday: We’re off to the aquarium with our friends this week! Looking forward to getting out of the house and spending time with our favorite littles.
