Summertime for me means long days spent at the park or pool and nights relaxing on the patio while the littles play outside. All that summer fun also brings bathing suits, tanks and shorts. It’s important for me to comfortably fit into all three of those, but I am also a girl who has a major sweet tooth. I love a sweet treat every night and am always trying to find treats that will satisfy my sweet tooth with fewer calories.
Recently, M&M’S® Crispy were brought back for the first time since 2005! They were the most requested variety to bring back from 2005-2014. I loved these when they were out many years ago and was thrilled when they came back. Made of rich milk chocolate, M&M’S® Crispy have a sweet rice puff center that’s crispy and crunchy and coated in the world-famous candy shell.
Portion control is something I focus on daily. I believe we should all be able to treat ourselves and not fall completely off the wagon. That is what I love about M&M’S® Crispy. One package counts as 2 servings of 90 calories each. So, that can be two snacks, under 100 calories.
I enjoy mine when the kids are asleep. Most of the time at night. It’s when I finally have a chance to relax, take a breather and decompress from the day. On this particular night, I paired one serving of the bag with a cup of coffee. Coffee isn’t usually a part of my nighttime snack, but on this particular night I needed to get some work done after some time to relax.
