Happy first day of fall! I’ve been waiting patiently for this day for far too long. Even though I’ve already decorated, enjoyed lots of pumpkin things and bought pumpkins, it’s nice to have things official now. Hopefully Florida will start to cool down and we can start enjoying fall-like weather. I’m ready for the windows to be open, the cool breeze and to light all the new candles I picked up from the B&BW sale last weekend. Anyone with me?
To celebrate the start of the season, I created a gift tag for you all to use. I used it on a batch of fall snack mix that I packaged up in a glass jar from the dollar spot at Target. But you can use the gift tag for anything. Whether you’re baking pumpkin bread for neighbors, sending your little one to school with some season soap for teachers or sending a thoughtful gift to a friend, like a paid scarf…this tag will work!

I mentioned I made snack mix for our neighbors. I make a snack mix every year and this year I decided to share instead of enjoying it for dessert every night. Below you’ll find the ingredients. It’s simple and would be great to gift or even better, for a fall party!
Fall Snack Mix
(amounts will vary based off how many people you’re serving or how big your containers are)
1 cup vanilla chex
1 cup rice chex
1 cup cinnmon chex
2 cups plain M&M’s
2 cups marshmallows
2 cups pretzels
1 cup candy corn (or two, it’s not our favorite so we use less)
MIX EVERYTHING TOGETHER, SERVE OR STORE IN AN AIR TIGHT CONTAINER
