Last Sunday, we had our 2nd annual North Pole breakfast. I woke up a few hours before the kids got up to get everything set up. I had already planned what I was going to make (cinnamon rolls, snowman pancakes, festive donuts, candy cane fruit) and I had all the goodies and decorations in a box ready to go.
Here is what I had:
Bucket, Elf, Book, New Elf, Elf Pet, Monogrammed Pajamas for L & AG, Reindeer Ears, Betty Crocker Cookie Mix & Icing, 5 different toys/ crafts from the Dollar Spot.
Coco the elf arrived in style, bringing lots of goodies and even a few friends down from the North Pole this year, a reindeer friend and Puff, L’s new elf.
I wish I had a picture of AG coming down the stairs this morning. She kept saying “Thank you Mama, Thank you Mama.” I explained that Coco brought everything, she was just in awe. We read the books and both kids enjoyed breakfast.
Snowman Pancakes for the win! Daddy gets credit for these =-)
While we were eating, we watched ELF and AG told us what she wanted for Christmas. The older she gets, the more magical the holidays become. Her excitement for all things Christmas is absolutely contagious. There isn’t anything that can top seeing the magic of the holidays through your child’s eyes. I cannot wait to see what fun and joy the rest of the month brings.
The hit of the morning was definitely the antlers for both kids. I was surprised with how long Luke kept his on. If only there was a second he wasn’t moving so I could get a better picture. This is just another reminder of how I need to pull out my big camera more often!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
See how much things have changed from our 2014 North Pole Breakfast!
Everything is perfect! And isn’t this age just magical with their excitement for Christmas! This was our first year doing the elf and a North Pole breakfast and I’m hooked!
Adorable! I love your pictures!
