Well, December 1st has arrived. Here in Florida, it definitely doesn’t feel like December as the weather is still hitting 80 each day. Hopefully it will cool down just a bit over the next few weeks. Hopefully….
With the arrival of December, our Advent calendar activities will start along with 24 days of Christmas books. We will read one book each night leading up to Christmas. Many of the books I wrapped were from last year and the rest I purchased throughout the year. If you have access to Amazon Prime or Scholastic book orders, they’re the best prices I’ve found. Here are 24 kids christmas books AG and Luke will be unwrapping this month.
Olive, the other Reindeer / The Last Christmas Tree
Merry Christmas Mr. Mouse / The Biggest Snowman Ever
How Do Dinosaurs Say Merry Christmas? / Gingerbread Pirates
The Snowy Day / And Then Comes Christmas
Christmas in the Barn / Snowmen at Night
Llama Llama Holiday Drama / The Itsy Bitsy Snowman
Waiting for Santa / The Gingerbread Man
Little Blue Truck’s Christmas / A Not Very Merry Pout Pout Fish
Click Clack, Ho Ho Ho / Pete the Cat Saves Christmas
I Love You Snow Much / Santa’s Christmas Train
Twas’ The Night Before Christmas / Five Busy Elves
Do you have any favorite Christmas books that aren’t on the list?
Please share as I plan on stocking up for next year with the end of Christmas sales!
We love this tradition as well! Just started tonight with the pout pout fish book! I also like the merry Christmas mouse book and we also like Peppa pig and the lost Christmas list. You can check out all our books on my blog too :).
