My sweet girl started back to school for VPK last week and couldn’t wait to meet her new teacher. Of course, the second we walked in for meet the teacher, she was super shy. It was one of those holding on to moms leg, peeking around to give one word answers to the questions. I’ve learned in these moments not to push her to talk or play, just to let her observe and take her time. Thankfully, her teacher was able to ask some questions to get her to warm up and the chatter box in her came out. This moment put my heart at ease, I know this school year will be wonderful for her.
Two days later, the first day of school was here. She was so excited for school, she woke up at 5:20am! I wanted to send her on the first day with a little something for her teacher. Nothing over the top, just a thoughtful gift to show how excited we were for the year ahead. I know how much work teachers put into starting a new school year, this was our little way to start showing our appreciation.
While on one of my many many Target trips over the last few weeks, I picked up a handful of pink goodies to make a little tickled pink gift. This entire gift was under $10 and I think it turned out pretty cute!
Inside the little bucket (which I found in the dollar spot,) there was sticky notes, pens, markers, nail polish, washi tape, lip balm and hand sanitizer. Then, I printed these gift tags that I made to go on the front.
Not only is this an easy teacher gift, I included some gift tags for friends, moms and sisters! You can download your free printable below.
Happy Back to School!

I am going to gift this on Friday at Meet The Teachers! Connor has the same two teachers he did last year but I know he is going to love being with them again.
