Happy first Friday of September friends! Yesterday, I talked about how I was beyond ready for a new month, a fresh start. Day one didn’t disappoint. Thanks to Hurricane Hermine, we were off school. Since it was a Thursday, I kept our sitter and decided to use that time to get some things done. Before she arrived, we made a trip to DD for donuts and coffee. The kids stayed in their pajamas and we watched a movie. I even got in a quick workout and showered….all before 10am! Throughout the day, I was able to check so many things off my to do lists as I listened to the kids squeal with happiness downstairs. Hubs was home early and our night ended with football. Definitely a great start to the month.
If you’ve been around here for a while, you know I’m THAT girl when it comes to fall. I’ve loved this the start of this season for as long as I can remember. If you ask my students over the past 10 years something about me, not only will they say I was their favorite teacher 😉 and they’ll tell you about the pumpkin obsession. Since all things fall and pumpkin are officially here, I’m sharing some of the things I’m looking forward to.

First up on my list of things to do is get a PSL from Starbucks. When I was at Target last week, I asked when they were coming out and the barista told me Sept 6th. When I saw a bunch of friends on IG yesterday enjoying theirs, I felt a little duped! So today, I’m on it. PSL here I come. I’ll also be taking out all of our fall decorations this weekend too. Hubs won’t even notice since he’ll be enjoying football all weekend!

I’ll be baking all things pumpkin this weekend. First up is this pumpkin bread. Following will be cookies and muffins. I have a list of people I’ll be delivering the treats to, after I enjoy one of course!
-three-
Last night, I received an extra 40% off coupon in my inbox from Bath and Body Works. I immediately headed to the website and went a little pumpkin crazy. Next week, there will be a box of goodies waiting for me on my doorstep. Candles, soap, car scents, hand sanitizer and more! I will also be on my way to pick up this pumpkin souffle candle this weekend too!

The cooler weather won’t be here for a few more months, but that won’t stop me from filling my closet with cool weather clothes. First on my list to purchase are these peep toe boots. Since it won’t be REALLY cold here for long, I’m sure I’ll get a lot of wear out of them.

I’ve been wanting a pair of AG jeans for a while now. I’ve even ordered a few pairs but they’ve been too long. Last week, I came across this ankle style on sale. I immediately ordered them and cannot wait for them to arrive. Unfortunately, they’re on back order so I’ll be waiting until November before they’re in my hands.

I can’t leave you without a top to match the shoes and jeans. I’ve talked about my LOVE for LUSH shirts here before. I actually own this exact shirt and it’s a favorite. It’s light and doesn’t wrinkle, which makes this a must have item! Best of all, it’s 40% off right now.
I hope you all enjoy your long weekend!
Love all things pumpkin! I tried to get one as well yesterday (since everyone was posting about them!) and they said they aren’t out yet.. umm how do I get on that?! Good luck today finding one! I felt the same way- I won’t give up until I have my hands on one!

The pumpkin chocolate chip bread looks yummy !
I’m all with you on the pumpkin and fall stuff. I have a Lush top like that, and I adore it!
All this Fall talk is happiness for my heart, girlfriend. Nothing is better than all things pumpkins … well, until Christmas 🙂
