Happy Friday friends! I survived the first week back to work after break. It was tough but it was also nice to get back into a routine. I was worried both kids would have a hard time going back after being home with me for two weeks, but they did great. My goal this weekend is to get some of my lists finished. I started a few in the back of my planner that I’ll continue throughout the year. House stuff, personal goals, a bucket list of sorts and things for the kids. After I finish those, I want to finish my January goals and maybe even clean up the apps on my phone. Maybe. Fun stuff, right?!?
Since there is less than two hours left in the day, I better get right to the favorites. That’s what you’re here for, right?
I’ve been working on simplifying my office over the past few weeks. I shut down my SMWL monogram business at the end of last year, which has me not needing a lot of things in my office at the moment. While it will probably take all year to go through the entire office, I have been able to move some things around. With the moving, I came across some empty frames. They ended up being perfect for some motivational prints. I found this printable set from Dawn Nicole Designs.
I’ve been eyeing this Mother Teresa Print from Smallwood Home for a long time. This past week I noticed it was 40% off with the code PRINTS. It may or may not be making its way to my house thanks to some Christmas gift cards.
We’re almost a week into the new year and I’m still working on choosing goals for the year and month. I have a feeling this entire year will be a work in progress year for me and I’m 100% okay with that. Over the past year I’ve changed a lot and to be honest, I’m happy with who I am. I know I will have to be strong this year with the changes coming my way, but I’m ready to give each day my all. If I need something to focus on or help with goal setting, I’ll use this ultimate list! Love this motivational print.
I love all of the bright colors that are coming into stores. I have a vision for a little coffee and tea station that I’m hoping to create sometime this year. I think this new mug from Anthropologie would be a perfect addition.
We’re FINALLY in for some cold weather for more than a day next week. I’ve been wanting to make a nice hearty soup and I think this one is the first I’ll try.
Cheers to the weekend!
I have that mug in an S of course. It’s one that I’ll forever love. The colors and floral print is just perfection.

Love the quotes and the mugs! That soup/stew looks great too. I hope your weekend is wonderful!
I adore that phrase, if you want to change the world go home and love your family. I feel so strongly about that!! It seems as though everyone is always in a rush and so busy; I know as soon as I slow down, cook a good meal and just spend time with my little loves and husband, all seems right in the world. Great Friday picks!
