When it comes to Valentine’s ideas for the men in your life, it can be tricky! Valentine’s Day is all about love and the gift should be a representation of your love.
A few years back, I created a date night in jar for my Simply Made with Love Blog. I came up with a lot of date night in ideas to place in the jar. I thought about ideas that would be planned all week long and others that could be last minute.
The ideas available for printing range from watching his favorite movie to playing her favorite game to having a themed dinner night at home. This is definitely a gift that will keep on giving and even better, one that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg to make.
I found this jar (isn’t it perfect) at Target, in the dollar spot. I used my silhouette to print out the date night in letters on red vinyl. If you don’t have a cutting machine, you can easily use a paint pen. I printed out all of the date night options, which can be downloaded for FREE below and put them in the jar. I also threw in a little crinkle paper because I had red on hand.
That is it, simple as that. Now it’s time to give this to the man in your life and enjoy some quality time together, from the comfort of your own home.

I started to make one of these with Popsicle sticks and gave up because it was taking to long, but these with them already printed looks like a great replacement! This year I am DIYing all of his Valentine’s Day gifts and I think this might have to be one of them!

This is so fun and cute! We have one of these from a wedding shower…and we haven’t cracked into it three years later. Guess we’re doing okay in the date department- but I know we will need this a little more once we have kiddos. Thanks for sharing!
