Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. I’m not sure about you but I maaayyy have started decorating the minute my Christmas decorations came down. On to the next holiday, right?
Over the past few years, one of my favorite things to do for my littles is put notes in their lunches. I’ve been creating notes for a little over a year and try to design them with themes in mind. One of my goals last month was to create Valentine’s Day Lunch Box notes.
Below you’ll see the notes along with links to print them. After I created the notes with the cute clip art images, I started thinking about what else I was going to do for the kids to make Valentine’s Day special. For the past few years, I’ve done the hearts on their bedroom doors with little love notes (things I love about them or other little notes.) One put on their doors each day until Valentine’s Day. As I was planning those out, I thought about creating some to print for AG’s lunch box as well. So, this month you have two options of things to print. I may even print them out to put on my students desks this month.

When it comes to lunch, I use the Bentgo boxes. I’ve been using them for years. They allow the kids to get a good variety of food, they’re easy to pack and they hold up well. So while a tad on the pricier side, I’ve had them for years. Sometimes I use the entire Bentgo box, other times I just pack the insert.
My kids are at the ages where they’re interested in packing their lunches and deciding what goes in where. They usually help me pack them either on Sunday or the night before. After the food is in, I add a napkin, any straws or spoons needed and then the note goes on top so it’s the first thing they see. I’ve found that printing (on card stock) and cutting the notes at once for the upcoming month is the best way to go. I keep them in a drawer with there rest of the lunch stuff (napkins, plastic bags, markers, etc) and just grab when needed.

I hope your littles enjoy these notes. If you have any difficulty printing them, please let me know.
