Tea-riffic Gift Idea
Gift giving is my love language. I’ll take any reason to give a gift or little something to let others know they’re loved and thought of. I’m always looking for new gift ideas (like this tea-riffic gift idea,) or reasons to create printables. I have “gifting” rolling cart at the house, with different types of string, gift bags, tags, etc. Everything you need to put something together on a whim. Many of those go to items can be found here. If I could make a living giving and creating gifts, I would!
Last weekend for Mother’s Day, I decided to create something that I knew my mom would use and enjoy. Last year we did flowers with handprints, which my mom still has at her front door. This year, I created a tea-riffic gift idea. I placed a Target order for all of the items, which made this gift so easy. I ordered a mug, tea, tea towel, biscottti honey, and cream filled wafers.
When I created these tags, I was going for clean and simple. I love the coral, mint and navy combination. You can download and print your copy here.
Remember, printing the tags on cardstock will give you the best results.
First, I used a brown box I found in the Dollar Spot along with crinkle paper to put the gift in. Then I added a few handfuls of the paper on the bottom and placed all the goodies in the box. Moving a few things around to get them all to fit and not look like a hot mess. I decided to take the tea bags out of the box to make everything fit better.
Once everything was placed in the box, I found a place for the tag. Next, I put some clear tape on the back so it wouldn’t slide around.
My mom loved her gift from the kids and has enjoyed it this week. And that lemon loaf tea….well I kept a few bags for myself and it’s amazing! It’s caffeine free so I’ve been enjoying a cup before bed. I would definitely recommend picking that up the next time you’re at Target!
These tea-riffic gift idea tags can be used for a variety of gifts. You don’t have to spend a lot. You can attach the tag to a new mug, a box of tea or a single tea towel. A thoughtful gift doesn’t have to cost a lot!
