For many schools, this week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Over the last few months, I’ve shared a few different ideas to spoil our teachers. It’s been a crazy year and they deserve it more than ever before. A cute idea that a friend of mine did for our school’s appreciation week a few months back, were cute teacher appreciation candle wraps.
I hadn’t seen these before but thought they were so cute. And of course, I thought they’d be easy to create instead of buying on Etsy! So I grabbed a candle, took some measurements and got to work.
I used Bath and Body Works single wick candles. They were on sale for $6.50 one day and I grabbed as many as I could. They make great little gifts whether for birthday, thinking of you or teacher appreciation. I also love this size when making gift baskets.
The tags are just over 10 inches long. You can trim them to fit a smaller candle. I used clear tape to secure the backs and also printed them on cardstock. Cardstock is the key to the best results when it comes to printing tags and wraps like this.
