By this time in the year, most kiddos are back to school. We’re over 2 months in and I don’t want to jinx myself, but things are going pretty smooth around here. We’re into a routine and the kids are doing the best they’ve done with responsibility- doing things at home to get ready for school each day. One thing I’ve been pretty good about so far is packing lunches. The kids do most of the work and in the mornings while the pups are eating, I finish them up. One of my finishing touches is a little note for the day. Over the years, I’ve posted a lot here on the blog. Many are themed to go with holidays or the time of year. This year, I decided to make a set of everyday lunch box notes.
There have been many times over the last few years of using the notes where I’ll write something on the back because of something the kiddos have going on that day. Whether it’s a test, event or reminder for after school. I wanted to have a set of notes that we’re blank for those days.
I keep all of the lunch box notes in a drawer next to the fridge in the kitchen. There are small bins in the drawer to organize items and one bin is for lunch box notes, another for pens and markers. They’re easy to grab and write or throw in their lunches in the morning.
Not only can you use these for everyday lunch box notes, but they’re great as teacher gift tags as well. I have some at work that I keep to put onto little gifts for coworkers.

Printing on card stock will give you the best results. I recommend setting a reminder on your phone for the beginning of the month. Print them, cut them out and put them in a place where it’s easy for you to grab.
