Our elves have been in our house (throughout December) for about 5 years now. They’ve “grown up” with our kiddos and the time they spend with us is always looked forward to. We were in the car, driving home from Thanksgiving dinner and the entire conversation in the back was about the elves arrival. The excitement, the stories from what they got into in years past, the kids went on and on. They’re a part of our holiday magic. Today, I’m sharing 30 elf on the shelf ideas with you and some of our favorite shenanigans from the past.
Our elves always arrive with a north pole breakfast. Can’t go wrong starting the day with loads of sugary goodness. There are so many fun breakfast ideas on Pinterest.
I haven’t captured everything our elves have done over the years, but here are some favorites.
Tic Tac Toe with some washi tape, Hershey kisses and straws.
The elves brought this book and the kids got a KICK out of it, highly recommend!
The Skittles experiment with hot water to create a rainbow.
Time for movie night. They brought everything needed for a family movie night!
So sneaky! And so much fun to watch throughout the month! Hopefully these elf on the shelf ideas will be of a little help and save you some time!
