If you’ve been around here for a while, you know I’m a big fan of the M&M’s sweet and salty bites. The pretzel snap with a Hershey’s hug and an M&M on top. They’re do good, you can make a bunch at a time and if you use different M&M’s they work for every holiday. You just can’t go wrong making them. Last year, I took that idea but decided to put Cadbury eggs on top of the Hershey’s hug instead of a M&M. Say hello to the Cadbury Egg Bites.
Best. Decision. Ever.
Here is what you’ll need to whip these up.
Snap Pretzels
Hershey’s Hugs
Cadbury Mini Eggs
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Then place rows of the pretzels on the baking sheet. After that, unwrap all of the Hershey hugs. Then place them on top of the pretzels. You’re now going to put the baking sheet in a 200 degree oven for about 5 minutes or until the kisses look shiny. The hugs melt pretty fast, so I like to stick with a lower heat to prevent them from melting all over the pretzel.
After the kisses are slightly melted (shiny,) take them out of the oven and immediately press the mini Cadbury Eggs on top of the kisses.
Let the chocolate set/ harden. Once they’re set you can put them out to serve, bag them up for goodies or place them in an airtight container.
Enjoy these Cadbury egg bites & Happy Easter!
