The end of the school year is here. I’m going to be sharing a few things over the next week that will help with end of the school year gifts- whether for students, teachers, or classmates. For the last 5 years, I had taught 5th grade. There was always a big celebration at the end of the year, with a big breakfast with parents, sending their kiddos off to middle school. We always to awards for each kiddo and a small gift to go with. Last year, I designed these shine bright sunglass tags for the end of the year gifts.
Materials
To create this gift, you’ll need sunglasses, any form of string and the sunglass tags.
There are 13 tags on this page. They don’t need to be too big to go with the sunglasses and if you have a lot of students or classmates, it will save you on a bunch of printing.
Putting it all together
After you print your tags on cardstock (for best results,) cut them out. After they’re cut, hole punch them in the corner. From there, you’ll need to cut your string. I used baker’s twine, which I love because it’s thin and doesn’t unravel.
The last step is to tie the tags onto the sunglasses. I went tied them in the middle. I ordered the sunglasses from Amazon, they had the best deal when we were looking and I was very impressed with the quality.
They’re a fun gift that all students will enjoy! You can download your free Shine Bright Sunglass Tags here.
