Starburst Back to School Tag

We’re a few weeks out from the start of the school year and I’ve been busy working on back to school gifts for the kids’ teachers. If you’ve been around here for a while, you know that gifting is my love language. Especially when it comes to teachers! I could go on and on but bottom line…

every chance you have to celebrate and appreciate teachers, do it!

Many teachers have been working over the summer and have been back in their classrooms before they’re required to be back. They’re doing everything in their power to make sure everything is set for a new school year. And I’m talking ALL of the teachers- classroom, specials, school nurse, electives, media center- even lunchroom help and front office staff. This year one of the goodies we’ll be gifting is this Starburst filled jar with a Starburst Back to School Tag.

For the classroom teachers, I always like to include a gift card with their gift. It doesn’t have to be anything big, just enough for them to treat themselves to a coffee or special treat. I love these tags because they’re bright and fun- perfect for the start of a school year.

In order to create this gift, grab a bag of starburst, some card stock paper- which makes for the best printing for gift tags. Then, figure out what you’ll put the Starburst in- I used a jar from the Target dollar spot. If you don’t want to get a container, a clear bag would work just fine as well.

From there, print the Starburst Back to School Tag, which you can download here . This would be the time to get the gift card ready to go with and everything you need to tie the bag or finish off the jar. This gift idea is very simple and can come to under $15 WITH a giftcard included. It’s also super quick to make!
