Happy Holidays! Are you ready for some Christmas content? I hope so, because I have a lot coming your way. If you’ve been around here for a while you know that my goal is making things EASY, yet festive and fun. This holiday treat is just that. It’s so simple to make with just a few ingredients and takes less than 10 minutes. These snow globe Oreos are fun to make for a holiday party, with your kids or to share with the neighbors.
Aren’t they just adorable?!?
Here is what you’ll need to make the oreo snow globes…
White Chocolate Oreos
Mini Reeses Cups
White Chocolate for Melting
Note: I decided on the already coated Oreos to make things easier but you could always dip the Oreos in white chocolate yourself. If you do that, add sugar
The only thing you need to prepare for this treat is melted chocolate. I melted about 1/4 cup and put it into a sandwich bag, cutting the tip in order to pipe. You can see the video here.
Use the melted chocolate to put the candy decorations onto the Oreos. Make sure to press them on firmly, you’ll be surprised how fast the chocolate dries. Once the chocolate is dry, grab the mini Reese’s cups. Pipe some melted chocolate onto the top of the Reese’s cup. Immediately, place the decorated Oreo on top. Hold the Oreo in place for a few seconds. Allow the chocolate to set.
There you have it! They really are as simple as they look.
