Homemade M&M Granola Bars
  1. over low heat, melt the coconut oil in a medium saucepan
  2. add peanut butter, honey and vanilla, mix well
  3. remove from the heat and add the oats along with the rice krispies
  4. once those are mixed in, add the flax meal and the salt
  5. finally, add the chocolate chips and mini M&M’s
  6. after all ingredients are mixed together, place the granola mixture in a parchment paper lined baking dish
  7. place another piece of parchment paper on top and press firmly to form a solid square
  8. refrigerate for 2-24 hours. when ready to serve, cut into bars.
  9. keep bars in refrigerator, they can last up to 10 days.
