The weather is warming up here in Florida. By the end of the week we’re supposed to see temperatures in the 90’s. When the weather is warmer, I’m always on the lookout for fun iced drinks. I usually go for iced coffee in the morning and afternoon, but since I’m nursing and staying away from dairy, that’s not a great option these days. Last summer while I was pregnant, I fell in love with passion tea lemonade from Starbucks. When I was in Target last week, I came across Iced Passion Tea by Tazo. I picked up a box, along with some lemonade and decided to try to make my own version of Starbuck’s passion tea. I made it that day and have made it twice since. There’s actually a pitcher in my fridge as I type. I’ve been enjoying a glass every afternoon, I especially love that it’s caffeine free. I have a feeling this is going to be a summertime staple in our house.
I enjoy my passion tea lemonade in my monogrammed Simply Made with Love Bev2Go cup while AG is running around in the grass and Luke is jumping in his jumperoo. No better way to wait pass the few hours before hubs gets home.
- 1 filterbag Tazo iced passion tea
- 4 cups lemonade
- 1 packet truvia sweetener of your choice
- 1 cup ice to serve
- 4 cups water
- Bring water to a boil.
- Pour boiling water over the filterbag in a 64 oz/ 8 cup pitcher until it’s half full.
- Let it seep for 5-10 minutes.
- Stir in truvia or sweetener of your choice.
- Fill the reminder of the pitcher with lemonade, about 4 cups.
- Chill for an hour in the refrigerator.
- Enjoy over ice.
I soo want to make this but can’t find the tea anywhere now!!! My favorite drink at Starbucks!!

Yum! I think I saw this tea at Walmart, I’ll have to check again!
Ooooh, it’s that time of year—this looks so good and I’m going to pick up these things the next time I’m at the store. I passed up the bottle tazo tea at Costco today, but this looks just right 🙂
This is awesome! Great idea to make a big ol’ pitcher 🙂
