Chex mix is one of my favorite things to make during football season. It’s easy to make and fun to snack on during the games. One of my favorites to make is ranch flavored chex mix. In the past, I’ve make it in the crock pot. It cooks all morning and is ready by game time. But the last time I made it, it wasn’t crunchy enough. So this time, I decided to bake it.

I gathered all of my favorite players for the perfect chex mix combination. Since this is more of a savory mix, I went for snacks that could absorb the seasoning. Chex mix, cheese its, pretzels, and ranch seasoning is what you’ll need. Combine all ingredients into a bowl.

Along with butter. Making it is simple. Melt the butter and mix in the seasoning. If you don’t want a ton of flavor I wouldn’t use the whole packet of seasoning.

After seasoned mix is mixed with the butter, pour it over the chex mixture. Mix to coat, gently so that none of the ingredients get smashed.

Place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake at 200 for about 45 minutes. Tossing every 15 minutes.

I could not stop eating this mix, so I needed it out of my house. I packaged them up into little bags and put others in a happy fall cup. You can use these little tags I made to attach to a bag if you decide to give these away. Just download the tag here and print.
